“Validating End-of-Life Experiences” with Dr. Christopher Kerr

September 22 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

What happens at the end of life? Are there common human experiences around the time of death? Join us as we explore such questions through a presentation by Dr. Christopher Kerr who has done extensive research with hospice patients and their families in Buffalo, NY. Dr. Kerr will highlight and validate the powerful dreams and visions often experienced at the end of life that bring comfort and meaning to the dying process. Dr. Kerr and the research team at Hospice & Palliative Care Buffalo have spent years researching the impact of end-of-life experiences on hospice patients and their families. By understanding the nature of these experiences and the role they play in the dying process, Dr. Kerr and his team are working to improve the quality of hospice care in Buffalo and beyond.
