Volunteers Needed for “Homeless for Hunger”

Join Councilman Nick Lord and volunteer for this 48-hour Homeless for Hunger food drive!
Our goal is ambitious but simple: collect 4 full pallets of non-perishable food in 48 hours to support local families in need and raise awareness about hunger and housing insecurity in Batavia. We are also supporting the Genesee County Cold Night Café, providing critical care during the winter months.
To make this event a success, we need volunteer teams to keep operations running smoothly around the clock! Tasks include set up, greeting drive-thru donors, collecting and sorting non-perishable food, assisting with raffle tickets for Buffalo Bills game tickets, and packing up.
Location: Batavia First Presbyterian Church (300 East Main Street, Batavia, NY – Corner of East Main & Liberty St)
