Serve

There are many ways to share God’s love in the world and it is a source of great joy. Here are a few of the ways you are invited to join us in serving others in God’s way:

In the Community

Pay attention to how God uses you each day to share love and care with others.

Jackson School

Join the Jackson School Partnership Efforts: You can volunteer in one of the classrooms, or cafeteria story time, or special events to help the children and teachers of our community.

Respite Social Program

Fourth Monday of the Month

Guests and volunteers enjoy four hours (10:30 am-2:30 pm) of activities and food to provide monthly respite care for caregivers of loved ones with dementia and to help our guests enjoy a Community Respite Social Program. To sign up, please contact us at fpcbatavia@outlook.com. We partner with the Alzheimer's Association: https://www.alz.org/wny/helping_you/respite-services.

The Little Free Pantry

Help with special events or weekly food restocking. The mini pantry movement is a grassroots, crowdsourced solution to immediate and local need.

Community Partners

Help one of our community partners: Crossroads House,  the Justice for Children Advocacy Center. We are grateful to God to be able to provide two the church's buildings to these service organizations. We also house the Batavia Little Free Pantry and the GLOW OUT Youth Drop-In Center.

Through the Church

Lead in Worship

Using your voice, your gifts, or your music could be very powerful ways to serve others to help lead them in worship. Let us know if you would like to help.

Teach Children & Youth

Teach children and youth through Sunday programs, youth ministry, or the annual weeklong Vacation Bible School.

Serve in Leadership

Serve on a ministry team for growth, operations, worship, and service.
